About Michelle
Michelle Carmazi was born on July 12, 1987 in Brooklyn, New York to Yona and Malka Carmazi. An extraordinary and gentle person, Michelle always demonstrated concern and care for her family, friends and all people she encountered, exhibited by her career in medicine and exceptional dedication to patient care. Michelle is remembered as a devoted granddaughter, cherished daughter, adored niece, beloved sister, loyal cousin, loving aunt and indispensable friend. Despite her gentle nature, Michelle was courageous and persistent when defending what she believed in and the people she loved.
Michelle's generosity, spirit and care for those around her are what inspired our family to establish this foundation in her name.
We have been very moved by the stories shared by friends and loved ones from around the world in recent years, recounting how Michelle impacted their lives. We've heard everything from 'She made a difference' to 'Michelle saved my life'. Others told narratives of her love for Israel and dedication to her patients. Colleagues noted how Michelle chose to stay at her practice after hours to follow up with her patients. Hearing these stories have only deepened our love and appreciation for Michelle and continues to inspire us.
We are humbled, honored, and immensely proud of Michelle's accomplishments and grateful to have had her as a member of our family and our lives.

About Us
The Michelle Carmazi Foundation was established in 2023 by Michelle's family and loved ones, just before what would have been her 36th birthday. We are a private, not for profit organization dedicated to our mission statement and serving others in the most efficient means possible.

Our Logo
The two hands and rose featured in our logo symbolize Michelle's hands and the charity work done in her honor. The five stars represent the five members of our immediate family and also recognize our five board members. Together, these elements embody our dedication to giving, our tribute to Michelle, and our emphasis on familial roots.
